About
Welcome to Beaver Creek Yorkies,
I urge you to read the reviews on our review page on this website.
My name is Heidi and my husband John, and I have been breeding Yorkies in our home now for about 13 years. However, my breeding career is far more extensive than that. I started with my Alaskan Malamute’s that I raised and trained. I had a sled dog team of 16 of them and during the blizzard of 1978 ended up on television with them because I was seen by a news station on my way to Cumberland Farms to get milk and bread and they ended up doing a segment on this unconventional way of getting around Burlington MA.
I went on to have a large family and my children were all involved with the raising of many types of animals in our home including farm animals and I had exotic permits for big cats and reptiles. At that time, I was raising Papillons and Pugs and to this day love both breeds. I raised them for about 25 years and one of my son’s was interested in a German Shepherd which led me into breeding DDR East German Shepherd Dogs for cadaver recovery for quite a few years as police dogs. We also had one Bloodhound we raised as a puppy.
That is just a quick excerpt of my past in dog breeding, but it has been extensive in dog’s and other animal’s as well including not only the exotics but horses and other livestock.
That being said said we love our little Yorkies and have many colors available including traditional, ocean pearl, particolor’s, gold dust, black, merle and bitter chocolate etc.
We are very passionate about the health of our Yorkies and how the medical industry over vaccinates them and the fact that they are not adjusting the dose of these vaccines for the size of these small dog’s…..FACT…a 200 lb. MASTIFF GET’S THE SAME 1CC. DOSE AS DOES YOUR 2LB. PUPPY…..we teach you about the damage this can do and about all the other things related to what happens when you purchase a puppy from us in our BLOG. I am very passionate about this, and I KNOW THAT PEOPLE LOOK AT THEIR DOG’S AS THEIR KID’S and I do not want to see the dog’s life cut short because of the effect of over vaccination causing cancer at the injection site and or autoimmune disease. I also teach about the quality of using a 5-star dogfood or making your own because too many dogfoods contain cancer causing preservatives.
We do not dock our puppies’ tails. WE USED TO DO THIS BUT HAVE STOPPED. We do take the dewclaws off to make it easier for grooming, but every puppy/dog deserves a tail to wag. They look so cute with them also.
Our puppies are not cheap. If you are looking for a cheap puppy you went to the wrong place. We work hard to raise them, and it is expensive to do it right. Occasionally we will have a puppy that has been here because someone backed out due to health reasons or for some other reason and will be available for a lower price just so that he/she can get into a home for training quicker. Our deposit to reserve a puppy at or before birth or anytime before he/she goes home is $500.00 and they range from $2500. to $4800. The top tier usually being extreme micro’s or two blue eyed merles. A puppy with a reduced price could be less than the 2500.
Every puppy has a 5-year health guarantee on contract and when you reserve a puppy with your $500.00, we have a deposit contract. We send videos and pics to you on a regular basis as your puppy grows and provide you updates regularly and you are able to visit your puppy after he/she has had both vaccinations. Prior to that we do not allow anybody to touch the puppies.
This website is still under construction, and I apologize for not having all my content available but in time it will be here.
I am available for phone conversations anytime.
